Do you see old-fashioned chickens with normal size breasts that run around free along with cattle on green pastures?
How about poultry hatched and cattle born on the farm they are raised on, just like was done before 1950?
Do you think of animals who produce "normal" quantities and can live a long productive life?
How about a small farm focused on feeding the region, not the world?
Do you think traditional, "normal", honest and authentic?
This is Old Time Farm.
KNOW YOUR FOOD: You can ask a farmer how your food was raised, where it lived and what it ate or why it was chosen
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ECONOMY: Keep your food dollars in your community where they can be recycled over and over again.
PEACE OF MIND: Feel good about the food you buy.
Misleading food labels are just not right.
Facts & Truth should matter - especially for your food.
You deserve to know the simple truth about your food:
☛ How it was raised
☛ Where it lived
☛ What it ate
Old Time Farm sells only the food we grow or carefully choose for our own table in our store.
Shelly grew up on a small farm and has over 40 years experience owning farm animals and raising food. Old Time Farm was started in 2014 to share her lifetime of research and experience.
How do I make easy to peel hard boiled eggs?
Cook 6, 12, 24 or 30 at a time in an Instant Pot!
The stakes are high because land use, conservation decisions, farming practices, and even if someone stays in or goes into farming should be based on whether a farm can make a profit and produce a living wage - we should not expect our farmers to subsidize our food with off-farm income.
Our environment and the future of local food depend on our food choices now - we are at red alert in a 911 situation right now with local food.
