Keta Salmon Portions
Wild-caught keta salmon, sometimes known as chum salmon has a mild flavor and firm texture. Keta salmon is a favorite of individuals who do not like the rich flavor of traditional red salmon.
Wild for Salmon keta is frozen hours after the catch to maintain the color, flavor, and texture.
Salmon portions are boneless with the skin on and can be enjoyed broiled, sauteed, grilled or even smoked.
Due to its lower oil content, recommend cooking Keta at lower temperatures. It is excellent for smoking and its firm, pink flesh makes it a good fish for grilling or roasting. Keta salmon has a lower calorie content but is still packed with protein. It is an excellent source of selenium, phosphorus, potassium and healthy omega 3’s
